Our tour endeavours to identify and understand the culture of the New South Africa. This tour offers a wealth of insight into South Africa‟s history & past injustices, the legacy of the struggle and the promise of reconstruction & development initiatives under way at present. Explore the unique culture & personality of the Cape Muslim community and their contribution to South Africa‟s development. Visit District Six & the living museum. Travel to the Cape Flats & Townships. Stop at a local community based empowerment project supported by Uthando (Love) Projects. Depart on the ferry from the V&A Waterfront for a guided tour of Robben Island and the prison where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated. Note: Robben Island visit is weather permitting and subject to availability.
