The Sanctuary covers 4,560 hectares and comprises of a southern and northern section. The southern section's grassland plains stretch up to the striking Nyonyane Mountain with its exposed granite peak known as the 'Rock of Execution'. All of Mlilwane's accommodation, dining and activity options are concentrated in this southern section of the park, with the exception of guided trails which enter the pristine northern section.

  • Traditional beehive architecture has been adopted to offer and authentic flavour of Swazi culture.

    The grass dome-shaped huts are arranged in semi-circles, all semi-enclosed by traditional Swazi reed fencing. Simple yet comfortable, they are all en-suite, contain beds, a small table, bedside light and fan. 

    Relax in a tranquil environment and admire the continual stream of animals such as impala, warthog and nyala walking between the facilities, quietly tolerant of human presence. Or if you're feeling more adventurous, walk, mountain bike, horse ride or take a guided game drive amongst the game.
